Les Menuires on the unspoiled site of Plan de l’Eau.
  • Roc ‘N’ Trott: Downhill scooter rides on a 2.5-mile piste with a 1,500-foot elevation difference.

Christophe is now hosting his Sunny Nights events in Les Menuires. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, you can climb aboard his snow groomer to spend an evening on the pistes around the resort, enjoy the sunset and indulge in a Savoyard fondue or grilled beef dinner! The Bureau des Guides in Courchevel is offering four new activities:

  • Attached to a rope with your guide, you can climb an ice waterfall, cross an unspoiled ridge, and scale an impressive rock face! For experienced skiers only.
  • Mountain coaching: Discover the guides’ tips and tricks for skiing in the right place at the right time, adapting to different levels of snow quality, reading the snow cover, and managing a rescue situation.
  • Ski Fitness Nature combines fitness and cross- country skiing in the heart of nature.
  • Ski n’fly: make your way up the mountain on cross-country skis, and come down on a paraglider as a reward for your effort!

The Bureau des Guides de Haute Montagne is opening an office in the centre of Val Thorens at the Intersport shop on Place Péclet. Now you can enjoy cross-country and glacier skiing accompanied by the finest professionals in the business!

Whether family walks, snowshoeing, horse riding, or open-air yoga, the Tueda nature park in Méribel Mottaret is a must-visit spot for sporting and relaxing activities in an incomparable setting.

Located above Méribel, the Altiport is THE sporting and nature spot you just can’t miss. Wear yourself out on the cross-country skiing slopes, perfect your aim with a rifle at the biathlon shooting gallery, admire the planes landing and taking off, and take a well-earned break at Le Clos Bernard restaurant…

“Saulire by Night” promises a magical downhill run by flaming torchlight from the legendary peak above Méribel after a private trip up in a cable car and an aperitif as you watch the sunset…

Until now, the children’s play area in Val Thorens was known for being the “snow barometer” thanks to social media posts about its snow coverage. This fun zone is now set to be cleared of snow and made accessible to young children so they can enjoy activities aside from skiing in the new structures built on the site. Fans of the old “barometer” should not despair, however. An actual barometer will be installed nearby to accurately measure snowfall! Will the 20 feet of overall snowfall from last season be beaten this year?

3D here means Dimanche (Sunday), Découverte (Discovery) and Domaine (Ski Area), a new offer from Brides-les-Bains and the French Ski School in Méribel. For those looking to develop their knowledge and discover the secrets of the world’s largest ski area, two 2.5-hour sessions are held on Sunday mornings and afternoons with an instructor. Groups of 8 or more.

On Tuesdays during French school holidays, come and take advantage of First Tracks at 8 a.m. at the foot of La Masse, in Les Menuires. After taking the gondola lift up to 9,200 feet, enjoy breakfast while admiring the unique panorama over the peaks. This is followed by a descent with a 3,300-foot drop in elevation with the sound of crisp snow under your skis as you take in the beauty of the sunrise, feeling like you are the only person on earth…

On the pistes of Les Menuires in the heart of Les 3 Vallées, you can now learn how to fly a drone through a marked- out course thanks to Easy Drone. The company
also provides videos and photos of your off-piste experiences so you can take home unforgettable memories shot from the sky.

In Val Thorens, come and discover the Village Igloo, a unique lodging on the pistes of the resort that can also be visited during the day. A surprising break for curious skiers to admire ice sculptures!

Courchevel Aventure offers a range of unusual trips for stepping out of your comfort zone or getting your heart racing. Experiences include driving snow groomers and snowmobiles, an evening in an igloo, a professional downhill race, and trying out snow quads… What will you choose?
